Cristina Simeoni was born in 1974 in Mantua. Driven by a passion for art, she began painting at a very young age, participating in meetings of madonnari. In the early nineties he made sets for outdoor set-ups and after his technical maturity he attended courses in painting and decorative arts.

The primary subject of Simeoni’s research is the study of light, direct or reflected, and the sensations connected to it: the cold and heat that represent the emotions of life and uses her experience to carry out an investigation of aluminium in a singular way.

The work 'The Sound of Life' explores a feature of aluminium that is not often considered: its musicality. In this work, the artist combines the cold properties of strength and solidity with the warmth of a harmonic resonance created by the sweet sound of simple tubular bells. The visual approach is combined with a sound element: the heartbeat. The loop begins with that of a fetus, slowing more and more the rhythm towards adulthood and, through that of an elder, reaches silence to complete the cycle of human life. To the active a wide exhibition curriculum in important cities and national and international tourist resorts with excellent feedback from the public and critics. In 2008 he inaugurated his own Art Studio with a permanent exhibition of works. In 2013 he was among the thirteen finalists of the COMEL International Prize. His works are present in important public and private collections.
