The 9th edition of the COMEL Award is coming to one of the most important moments in its program: that is, the exhibition of the 13 finalists’ works, selected by a jury of experts from the hundreds of entries received this year.

The title of the exhibition is Endless Aluminium, which is also the theme proposed to the artists this year in order to emphasize the intrinsic eco-sustainable nature of this metal, which can be fully recycled an infinite number of times without ever losing its characteristics, returning each time to live a new life.

A reflection related to the preservation of the environment has naturally become a series of considerations about Man, existence and the passage of time. From the theme and concept we move on to work on the material and the endless possibilities of manipulating it.

The result is an interesting investigation of styles, techniques and languages, which will allow the public to have a glimpse of 13 different artistic universes, 13 different paths linked only by the use of the same material.

The Endless Aluminium exhibition, which will be held at Spazio COMEL in Latina from November 12th to December 3rd, features painting, sculpture and installation works from different Italian cities, and from various European countries (Spain, Germany and Ukraine).

Part of the jurors and competing artists will be attending the opening on Saturday, November 12; the exhibition will be presented by jury president and artistic director of the Award, Prof. Giorgio Agnisola.

The exhibition will be concluded on Saturday, December 3rd, with the announcement of the winners: that of the 9th edition of the COMEL Award chosen by the jury and the one of the Audience Award, that is, the author of the work receiving the most preferences from the exhibition visitors, who can vote for their three favorite works until Sunday, November the 27th.
